Using Imagination to Get What You Want

How To Use Your Imagination To Attain Your Goals

You’ve made up your mind and this time you’re really going to do it!  You’re going to break that unwanted habit and improve your life. You feel it, you know it, and you’re absolutely certain that you really will quit smoking, lose weight, or simply live a happier, healthier life.  And then a few days later your excuses become bigger than your dreams and once again you quit trying.  But, it doesn’t have to be that wayYou can permanently and effortlessly change your life… once you know the secrets.

The first secret is in knowing what doesn’t work.  At the top of the list is willpower. You use willpower to  declare what you want, for example, I want to lose weight… Or, I want to quit smoking.. I want to play a better game of golf…. I want to earn more money, I want to have less stress and so on.

You know what you want but unless you do something other than willpower, chances are you won’t get it. That’s because willpower is useful as a decision maker but it’s one of the weakest powers of the human mind. If willpower worked you’d already have everything you want.   A much stronger tool for getting what you want is harnessing the power of your imagination.

 

 

Your imagination is the theater of your mind.

You use imagination when thinking about your past and creating your future. But if you’re not clear and specific about what you want, your imagination will wander and you probably won’t be happy with the results. Remember the saying “Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it” ….now you know why that’s true.  Your imagination is also a reflection of your self-image.  Your self-image is how YOU see yourself.. not what others see but only what you see. A healthy self-image is essential for living a happy and productive life. But, if you’re lacking self-confidence you will always have to settle for less than you deserve.

Believe you can, or believe you cannot, either way you will be right.

If you’re always afraid, then fear will always be your constant companion. The solution to getting exactly what you want is in developing your self-confidence. You must believe before you can achieve.  If you don’t believe that you can lose weight, then you never will. If you’ve tried quitting smoking and failed it’s because you don’t believe that you can stop.  Change your self-image and you will change your life. The level of income you earn is based on your beliefs about your self-worth.  Even your relationships are based on your self-image. If your stories are always about what’s missing and why you can’t have what you want, then it’s time to change your stories.  You do this with your imagination.  If you don’t like your stories, change them. They started in your imagination and you use your imagination to change your stories.

Your life is a reflection of your thinking.

Everything you are or are not is because of what you believe to be true about yourself.    Eliminate your limiting beliefs, change your thinking, and you will change your life. It can’t be any other way.  Your imagination is the key to your success and hypnosis is the fastest and best way to harness this hidden power. Hypnosis is a completely natural state-of-mind that anyone can do.  You already use a form of hypnosis when you daydream, fantasize, read a book, or watch a movie.   With proper guidance you can use hypnosis to improve your life.
