How does hypnosis work?
Hypnosis works because it takes ordinary suggestions and makes them stronger, more powerful, and more effective. It turns your ordinary mind into an extraordinarily powerful tool. It’s like turning a light bulb into a laser.
Can anyone be hypnotized?
Almost everyone of normal intelligence, who’s willing to be hypnotized, can be. It’s a learning process. There are six stages of hypnosis from very light trance that feels like daydreaming to very deep trance that looks like sleep. Light trance (daydreaming) can be as effective as deep trance in making permanent changes. Sometimes hypnosis isn’t even necessary to overcome an issue.
How many sessions will it take to see results?
Results vary but hypnosis is about rapid change. It’s a learning process…. Some folks learn in one session, some in 3, 4, or 5 sessions, and some don’t learn at all. There is no predicting how long it takes to change but for most people results can happen from the very first session.
As a stage hypnotist, I’ve performed over 4000 shows all over the world. In the show, I hypnotize willing volunteers to act in some funny and silly ways but there is a difference between stage and motivational hypnosis. On stage, I only hypnotize people who want to be hypnotized. Volunteers get a chance to have some fun, feel great, and be a star. At least for a little while. There’s a lot going on in a show.
In private sessions, it’s the exact opposite. I only hypnotize people who want to improve themselves. Sometimes people need a little help to quit smoking, lose weight, feel happier, stop worrying, increase self-confidence, eliminate habits, stop worrying, overcome fears, or dozens of other interests that hypnosis can help.
